Hurricane Color Choice Options

Hurricane Sails has always offered the largest selection of color options of any windsurf sail loft. That tradition continues today.  Some clients are very particular, some not so much. Regardless the options are there. 

I really enjoy offering the vast selection of colors and look forward to working with you to get the color options that best works for you.

There are three different types of X-Ply material on the sail;

   1) Upper leech and head - above the long batten (above the           boom) (KWiXS)

   3) Center panel (KWiXS-L)

   2)Below the long batten (SBX).

Examples are shown below. These are fixed and the same on all sails.

There are six places where there are color options

  • Luff panel

  • Swoosh

  • Leech and Foot reinforcing

  • Leech and foot tape

  • Window Load Strips

  • Leech seam

  • Mini batten

  • Batten pockets

I have worked hard to have matching color options so the three different types of material within the color selection are the same. That said there are some colors that I have not been able to procure in all the different types of materials.

I have a gallery of many different options for you to see. It is worth noting that my color tool has a very close match to the actual colors, what the sail looks like on the screen will have a slight variance  to when it is on the sail loft table. It will also look different out on the water.

Many of the color options I provide have pictures of all three so you can see how they look in the different settings.

Note: The pricing and discounts are for sails that are all the same color and have no more than three colors. More than three colors is very doable for an additional charge. There may be specific exceptions – please talk to Douglas.
